The UWI Alumni Association is dedicated to the advancement of the University of the West 探花系列 as a centre of excellence in the Caribbean through the mobilisation of its graduates.
UWIAA currently comprises country-based chapters, as well as the Engineering, Law, Social Sciences and Medical Alumni Chapters. Our Chapters are all eager to expand their membership and get more alumni involved in their activities, which include networking, personal and professional development, fundraising for UWI, serving on committees in the UWI governance structure, and helping to mentor, train and develop current students. Past Chapter Activities:听Rising to the pandemic challenge from 2020-2022, the Chapter gave food hampers to the elderly and to students across Barbados, including UWI students at the Cave Hill Campus, unable to return to their home countries
Alumni Philanthropy:听The Alumni Circle is a way for UWI alumni and Friends of The UWI; who are committed to ensuring that the Cave Hill Campus听continues to provide a world class educational experience in an environment of excellence; may give back.听Members of the Circle pledge by Deed of Covenant to make a total contribution of a minimum of BDS$1,000.00 over a minimum period of three years to the Cave Hill Campus
